but his birth named her as Barbara.

Barbara married Robert Watson on 27 Nov 1803 in Cruden, Aberdeen. (Robert Watson was born about 1780 in Scotland, probably.)

The only record found for their marriage is from the parish of Slains.

However, it says they "were regularly solemnized but not here.".

Since Barbara was living in the parish of Cruden, I have assumed that they were married there.
